In my opinion, the two gentlemen did a very good job of presenting themselves. However, I belive they needed to research their product as well as other a little more. They need to tug at the panels emotional appeal more by maybe wanting to send a sick loved one a nice meal or someone who just lost someone in their family. This would get the panel thinking about their family and maybe ways to appeal to their emotional side.
The two men did mention the competitors, which wasn’t entirely bad until they mentioned how great they were. They should have come up with a plan that explained why they were behind with their product. They needed to set themselves apart from the competitors and inform what makes them truely different and unique. The idea they presented, I think, would be very successful. They just need to use all appeals to persuade the panel otherwise.
